Not sure whether to pursue a career as a fashion designer or dancer Anstey’s mind was made up when she was told she was too fat to dance and would never make it. In true Anstey spirit she stepped up to the challenge, fought off the bullies and went on to gain a BA (hons) in Dance Performance at Middlesex University. She not only went on to dance professionally for West Life, S club 7 and Geri Halliwell she also became in demand as a plus size model. Anstey appeared in adverts for clients such |

as Coca-Cola and Bodyform and has been a regular on GMTV. |

With her passion for people, and her inspirational teaching methods, she soon got her head hunted and Anstey went on to teach to packed dance and fitness classes in top London gyms, a youth dance school and world renowned professional dance studio ‘DanceWorks” |

Then came Anstey’s next challenge, voluntary work at Parkside Hospital radio and
it was here that she discovered her love for presenting. |

Told that her accent would be the death of her and her sense of style to distinct she again stuck to her belief in being true to herself and won the hearts of the Nickelodeon viewers and won the “Nick Pick” new presenter competition that saw her join the team and then be head hunted to go on to present her own cooking show “Bites” on rival channel Discovery Kids.

In 2006, Anstey became the face of Virgin mobile. This made her the first ever presenter to host shows via this medium in Europe. In its 3rd year Anstey now also presents for Virgin Media and Virgin on demand hosting the backstage interviews at the V festivals and various special

entertainment features. |

Anstey’s honesty and warmness allows viewers and guests to feel like they’re having a chat with their best friend and it gives her the ability to control even the toughest of interviews. Anstey is the official ambassador for CALM, a unique mental health charity. Her honestly with her own life issues and experience of a loved ones suicide enable her to inspire others and gather together some of the world’s best musicians and comedians for her events such as “Stand Up To Stop Suicide”. |

When not talking about the trials and tribulations life throws at us its all about having fun for Anstey. She is a huge house music lover and clubber, likes watching movies and going to the theatre. She still has that passion for fashion and creates with her sewing machine. She is currently working on two internet concepts and she is determined to be the next Richard Branson and her traveling is more than a bug, it’s in her blood. Anstey has traveled to many places including Thailand, Nepal, India, and South Africa, is a huge fan of NYC, |
